The Mummy (2017) – Review

The Mummy (2017)

Directed by Alex Kurtzman

Overall Experience: ✭✭✭ 3/5 STARS

Oh boy… That had been my first reaction after seeing this movie’s trailer. I wasn’t sure if I’ll enjoy this movie, but I wanted to like it – I like the old classic monsters and also the previous movie with the same title, The Mummy (1999).

Spiderman: Homecoming – Review

Spiderman: Homecoming

Directed by Jon Watts

Overall Experience: ✭✭✭✭ 4/5 STARS

I went to see this movie with two expectations – 1) that I hopefully have a good time and 2) it’s got that Marvel flare of great action, humor and awe! And fortunately, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, I was not disappointed! Continue reading

Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 – Review

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Directed by James Gunn

3D or 2D: BOTH! The 3D pops out so it’s enjoyable esp. in one particular scene, but 2D is just as great too!

I’ve been waiting for a while to watch the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, ever since the first movie came out and blew my mind away with how funny and awesome it was! So you can probably imagine me being an ecstatic mess when I went to the theaters! Continue reading

Beauty and the Beast (2017) – Review

Beauty and the Beast (2017)

Directed by Bill Condon

Overall Experience: ✭✭✭✭ 4/5 STARS

3D or 2D: Stick with 2D – the movie is visually gorgeous, so 2D works better! Best avoid 3D. It may make the details look blurred, as the camera movement in 2D as well was a bit blurry.

A classic re-telling of Disney’s animation ‘Beauty and the Beast’, it follows the story of Belle and how fate intervenes when she meets the Beast.

WARNING: Major Spoilers for the Fast and Furious series!

The Fate of the Furious (Fast and Furious 8)
Directed by F. Gary Gray

Overall Experience: ✭✭✭ 3/5 STARS
2D or 3D: Stick with 2D, although this might actually be a fun movie to watch in MX4D!

So I’ve been a pretty big fan of the Fast and Furious movies for a while, especially after watching the most recent movie that came out, Fast and Furious 7 (aka Furious 7), which is why I went into the movie hoping the next sequel to this franchise would be just as good as the last.
